As a club we are always looking to change things up and keep it interesting. So this year we will be exploring genres of photography. So the Focus Points will not be as informative on the technical side, however we are hoping that you are inspired to try some of these and maybe getting out of your comfort zone.

This will be a quick Focus Point looking at the different genre's of movement in photography.

Weather
How many different types of weather photography is there? What do you need, how to get into it, and where to start.

Street Photography
Where to go fro good street photography? The different types, how to get started and maybe some short falls that you need to be aware of.

Landscapes, Seascapes, Cityscapes
We have discussed these individually a few times, but we will be exploring the genre and the cross overs of each and what is needed.

Documentary
This is a very big genre of photography, there are many areas this can break into and how to look at it with the excitment to have a go.

Travel
Now this is something most of us do, and sometimes taking our main camera with us is difficult, but this genre is always fun and crosses over with documentary more than you think.

Flora and Fourna
This again is a large genre. There are many different images that can be taken and mostly this is left to your imagination and your trained photographic eye.

Engineering
Where can you do this, what is the genre of engineering. We will explore this together and discuss the best way to get into this area.

Fashion, Portrait, Closeups
We have again discussed these areas individually, however, this is a great area to discover and easy to get into.

Although previously we looked at Flora and Fauna. We will be drilling a little deeper into the specifics of wildlife.
