november meeting news
Very Short introduction to a free and easy evening. A few nibbles to mark the last meeting of the season, a little social discussions, quick run though a few ideas for the programme 2025.
We ran through the monthly competition, and proceeded to announce the winners for the seasons monthly and quarterly competitions.
Competition
The ‘Monthly Competition’ entitled ‘Religious Environments’ was held.
The winners were:-
- 1st - 'In a Nutshell' by Val Sturman
- 2nd - 'Autumnal Walk' - by John Horton
- 3rd - 'About Change' by Val Sturman
Annual Competition Winners
As ever, we have come to the end of the season, and we can announce the 2024 season competition winners.
I think it’s very sensible to note that a lot of the competitions this year have been hard to judge, and the quality has increased once again - everyone is having to up their game to keep up!!
Well done to the winners, but very well done to all who entered - please keep up the amazing work and keep taking and entering your amazing images!
The ‘Monthly Competition’ winners are as follows.

- 2nd - 'Joan Banks' - 12 points
- 3rd - 'Julie Beddow' - 10 points
The Quarterly Competition’ winners are as follows.
- 1st - 'Natalie Kinner' - 8 points
- 2nd - 'John Horton' - 5 points
- 3rd - 'Garry Jones' - 4 points
