Welcome note back from the Xmas period and looking forward to the next season’s programme. We discussed a few images that were not entered by members for other competitions, and trips. The competitions were run through and then a selection of images that members were ‘going’ to enter were critiqued - This gave some insight to what our peers would look for - some, unfortunately, would of received more votes than they thought. Great feedback, and a good learning experience.


Competition


The ‘Monthly Competition’ entitled ‘Waste / Recycling’ was held.

The winners were:-

  • 1st - 'Dumping Ground' by Andre Hundley
  • 2nd - 'Digbeth' - by Russ Powney
  • 3rd - 'There's nothing on the tele' by Garry Jones

The Quarterly Competition’ entitled ‘Walk in the Woods in Winter’ was held.

The winners were:-

  • 1st - 'First snow of the winter' by John Horton
  • 2nd - 'One man and his dog' - by Garry Jones
  • 3rd - 'Winter Sunshine' by Judy Moore
