Quick discussion around a few house keeping issues. Then straight into the meeting workshop.


Presentation


The presentation on ‘Textures’ was held.

This month we had a quick workshop about textures and how the light can adjust the look and feel of an object. Members had the opportunity to take control of a light and move this around to see how this effects the contrast and detail of different objects.

It was encouraged that members try this at home with different light sources.

Members receive a copy of the presentation in the club newsletter.


Competition


The ‘Monthly Competition’ entitled ‘After Sunset’ was held.

The winners were:-

  • 1st - 'The seat on the hill' by Judy Moore
  • 2nd - 'Almost Dark' - by Andre Hundley
  • 3rd - 'Morton Corbett Castle at dusk' by Julie Beddow
