The complexities of ‘Night Photography’ were explained with the aid of a slide show and accompanying hand-outs. It covered a wide range of techniques that included long exposure, light trails and ‘painting with light’. A short Q & A session followed.

As we had two competitions to judge and discuss we then adjourned for the coffee break.

The ‘Monthly Competition’ entitled ‘Rust’ was held.

The winners were:-

  • 1st - 'Redundant' - Linda Evans
  • 2nd - 'Rusty Windy Thingy' - John Horton
  • 3rd - 'All Squared Up' - Joan Banks

The Quarterly Competition’ entitled ‘Ironbridge’ was held.
